Mufti Day 1st May 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to let you know that we will be holding a Mufti Day on Friday 1st May 2026. Children are invited to come to school in their own clothes in exchange for a £2 donation. Donations should be made via ParentPay using the payment item: Mufti Day for OPAL 1st May 2026

All money raised will go directly towards purchasing small world toys to enhance our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) provision. These resources play a valuable role in developing children’s imagination, storytelling, cooperation, and creative play.

If you have any small world toys at home that your child no longer uses, we would be very grateful for donations. Pre‑loved items are just as valuable as new ones and will help us create a rich and engaging play environment for all children.

Examples of small world toys include:

Toy animals (farm animals, zoo animals, dinosaurs)
Mini vehicles (cars, trains, tractors, diggers)
Figurines and characters (people, superheroes, fantasy figures)
Small buildings or accessories (toy houses, fences, trees, bridges)
Playsets such as farms, castles, garages, or dollhouse furniture

We would also like to invite you to save the date for a special OPAL Play session with your child on Wednesday 8th July. Parents and carers are warmly welcomed to come into school and join their children for 30 minutes of outdoor play. To make the most of the experience, we will be combining year groups and allocating specific time slots for each group. These timings will be shared with you as soon as possible. We hope you will enjoy this opportunity to see OPAL Play in action and share in the fun, creativity, and imagination it brings to our school day.
